Install and sign in
Starizon supports Google Chrome 120 or newer on desktop and Vivaldi 8.2 or newer on Android. Grouping tabs by when you last visited them needs Chrome 121 or newer on desktop.
Install on desktop
- Open Starizon in the Chrome Web Store .
- Choose Add to Chrome and review the extension permissions.
- To keep the icon beside the address bar, open Chrome’s Extensions menu and pin Starizon.
- Open a webpage and click the Starizon icon to open the side panel.
You can also press Alt + Shift + S on Windows or Linux, or Command + Shift + S on macOS. Change the shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
Install on Android
- In Vivaldi, tap Extensions in the address bar and choose Open Chrome Web Store (or Discover more extensions).
- Enable Desktop Site in the Vivaldi menu while installing. Find Starizon in the Chrome Web Store , choose Add to Vivaldi, and confirm with Add extension.
- Open Extensions, use the three-dot menu beside Starizon, and choose Pin to toolbar.
- Open a webpage and tap Starizon for the popup. Use Open workbench for longer tasks in a full browser tab.
Android uses the popup and workbench instead of a persistent side panel. Knowledge Base collections and Spaces stay in that browser; signing in does not automatically sync them across devices. See the Android guide for the mobile workflow.
Choose how to access a model
Use a Starizon account. Sign in from the panel, finish on the website, then return to the panel and pick a model. A Free account comes with credits to try the product, and you do not need a credit card to start.
Use your own API key. Add your provider in Settings. Your provider then bills you for model requests. Built-in web search, app actions and email alerts still need a Starizon account and credits. See Models and API keys.
Check your first page
Open an article or product page with readable text. Choose AI Chat, type @ and select that page. Then ask:
Summarize this page and list the points I should check before relying on it.
Chrome’s settings pages and other protected browser pages limit what extensions can read. Some sites ask you to sign in or grant site access first.
If the panel still asks you to sign in, check that you used the intended account, return to Chrome and reopen the panel. Troubleshooting covers sign-in and page-access problems.
Next: Your first task.
