Read and research

Ask one question across open pages, bookmarked articles and saved notes. Starizon reads the sources, follows a useful reference and searches for what is missing before it writes the answer.

Start with your sources

  1. Choose AI Chat, or use PageChat to start from the page you are viewing.
  2. Select pages or a tab group with @. You can also reference a Knowledge Base collection or a Space.
  3. Describe the question and the kind of answer you want. If the task needs public web research, turn on Web in the input’s Tools menu.
Example request

Read the pages in my Camera research tab group. Compare what they say about blurred indoor photos, follow the references behind the advice, and explain which changes I should try first. Link each recommendation to its source.

PageChat can read text from PDFs and available transcripts from YouTube or Bilibili. Video answers use captions. To ask about something shown only on screen, attach a screenshot with an image-capable model. If text or captions are unavailable, supply a readable copy of the material.

Combine saved knowledge with fresh research

Example request

Use my Podcast setup collection to find the microphone and room setup I have. Read my test notes, look up solutions for the noise they describe, and make a plan using the equipment I already own.

In a request like this, one result leads to the next search. A detail in your notes can point Starizon to another source, which it reads and compares with the rest.

For questions about saved material only, say so in the request. Knowledge Base explains saving sources and choosing collections.

Web search uses Starizon’s built-in service unless you set up a custom search provider. Switching to a different AI model leaves that search setting as it is.

Request a research report

For a report based on public web sources, sign in to Starizon, type /research and describe the question. Answer any clarification questions, review the Research plan, then select Start research. You can edit or cancel the plan before starting.

/research uses public web pages. It cannot use websites you are signed in to, your Knowledge Base or Space attachments. For a question that needs those materials, use AI Chat or Agent S6 with the sources attached.

You can use your selected custom model to prepare the plan. Starizon’s research service produces the report and charges Starizon credits, including when you use your own model key or search provider.

The report runs in the background, so you can leave the conversation and return to it through History. You can have up to three research reports running at once. Review the question before starting: the panel has no stop control for a report that has started.

Check the answer

Open the cited sources and confirm that they support each claim. A search result or a page title points you to a source, but the evidence is in the content Starizon read.

Check which pages Starizon read and which were unavailable before relying on the comparison. Ask a focused follow-up when one source needs another look:

Example request

Check the second source again and explain whether its recommendation applies to my setup.

Starizon may reopen or refresh a selected page to recover readable content. If a page holds unsaved work, save it first and tell Starizon not to refresh that page.

Keep the findings

Ask Starizon to save the answer to a named Knowledge Base collection, or save the conversation and its materials as a Space. You can also ask it to highlight the relevant passages on the source pages.

To build a table of repeated fields across many pages, use Extract and process data.
