Spaces

A Space keeps one project’s materials together so you can pick them up in a new conversation. Save the course pages, the extracted table and the discussion from a research task, then come back later to refine the same shortlist.

Create a Space

Open the toolbar’s Tools menu, choose Spaces → New Space, and give it a name and a description. Use the description for background, requirements or decisions that later tasks should know about.

You can also choose Save as Space under a finished reply, or Add to Space to add to an existing one. Review the proposed materials with View / adjust materials before you save.

You choose what goes into a Space. Starizon does not add your chat history to it on its own.

Add project materials

MaterialHow it helps
Saved conversationsBring earlier requests, answers and decisions into a new task.
PagesKeep the source address and a saved copy of its content, with options for reading the current page later.
FilesReuse uploaded documents and generated files, such as the CSV from an earlier extraction.
ImagesInclude a reference image, screenshot or visual brief.
Knowledge Base referencesUse a saved document or collection alongside the project’s other materials.

Open the Space and choose Add materials or Upload files or images. Check the material list afterwards, especially if a file could not be uploaded or a page could not be read.

Each new task uses the content then available in the Knowledge Base documents or collections you referenced. Changes to those saved materials apply the next time you use the Space.

Continue in a new conversation

Type @, select the Space and describe the next step. Or open the Space and choose Use in chat.

Example request

Use Learning plan. Take the course table we made last time, keep the courses under six hours and fit the shortlist into my weekends.

If the saved table has the fields you need, Starizon works from it without collecting the pages again. Ask it to check the current pages when prices, dates or availability need updating.

Mentioning a Space gives the task access to its materials. A page you attach to that task stays out of the Space until you choose Add to Space.

Choose how to read pages

The Space reference offers a Page reading preference:

PreferenceWhat happens
Prefer the original tabTry the original tab first, then use the saved copy if needed. This is the default.
Prefer a fresh pageOpen the page again. If it cannot be read, try the original tab, then the saved copy.
Prefer the saved snapshotUse the saved copy first. If none is available, try the original tab.

Changing the reading preference leaves the saved copy as it is. To replace it, choose Update snapshot. If Starizon cannot read the page, the Space keeps the previous copy.

Keep new files and conversations

In a task that uses a Space, Save new files to shows where new files will go. In Settings → Spaces, New files from Space tasks offers Save automatically, Ask after the task or Do not save automatically.

After the task, check the file-saving result. If saving needs your confirmation or fails, finish that step before you rely on the file in a later conversation. Conversations are not added for you. Add one with Add to Space under its reply.

Keep a copy outside the browser

Spaces are personal and live in this browser profile. Your Starizon account does not sync them to another device.

Before you clear extension data or move to another browser profile, download the files you need and keep them outside the extension.

Use the Knowledge Base for a library of pages and notes across topics, and a Space for the materials and work of one project.
