Starizon Ltd. provides an AI-powered browser assistant and browser automation agent, including our website, browser extension(s), applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information when you use our Services. It also describes your privacy rights and choices.

If you use our Services on behalf of an organization (for example, a team or business account), your organization may control certain aspects of data processing, and additional terms may apply.

1. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by us through:

  • our website(s) (including https://starizon.ai and related domains),
  • our browser extension(s) (including Chrome extension features),
  • our AI chat/assistant features,
  • browser automation and agent features,
  • customer support, communications, and account administration,
  • and any other Services that link to or reference this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to:

  • third-party websites, apps, or services that you access through our Services (those are governed by their own privacy policies),
  • personal information we process solely as a service provider/processor on behalf of enterprise customers, where a separate agreement or data processing addendum applies.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information from you, automatically from your use of the Services, and from third parties, as described below.

A. Information You Provide to Us

Depending on how you use the Services, you may provide:

  • Account and Contact Information: Name, email address, login credentials (or authentication tokens via third-party sign-in), and profile information (if applicable).
  • Billing and Transaction Information: Subscription plan, billing status, transaction history. Payment card information is processed directly by our secure payment processors (e.g., Stripe), not by us.
  • Communications: Information you provide when contacting support, feedback, bug reports, feature requests, or survey responses.
  • Inputs and Prompts: Text prompts, instructions, questions, and commands you explicitly submit to the assistant. Note: We do not record or store the webpage content you browse.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain limited information, such as:

  • Device and Technical Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, language settings, and extension version.
  • Usage Information: Feature adoption events (e.g., clicks in our UI, session duration), error events, timestamps, and frequency of usage.
  • Browser Extension Operational Data: Whether the extension is installed/enabled, settings, and permissions state.

Zero Logging Guarantees:

  • No Webpage Content Recording: We do not record, collect, or store any webpage content, DOM information, or sensitive data you encounter while browsing.
  • No Agent Logs: We strictly do not record, log, or store your agent execution logs, step traces, or browser automation paths.

C. Information Collected from Third Parties

  • Authentication Providers: If you sign in via Google or another provider, we may receive account identifiers permitted by that provider.
  • Payment Processors: Confirmation of payment, subscription status, and transaction metadata.
  • Security and Infrastructure Providers: Fraud prevention, abuse detection, and analytics signals from our vendors.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Operate the Services: Create and manage your account, authenticate sessions, process subscriptions, and provide customer support.
  • To Improve and Monitor the Services: Troubleshoot bugs, crashes, and performance issues, analyze usage trends, and conduct internal testing.
  • Security, Fraud Prevention, and Compliance: Detect and prevent abuse, protect our users, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Marketing and Communications: Send service-related notices and (where permitted) product announcements. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

4. How We Share Personal Information

We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers and Processors: We share information with vendors that help us operate the Services, such as cloud hosting providers, customer support tools, email delivery providers, payment processors, and security services.
  • AI and Model Providers: To provide AI features, we may send your specific text prompts to third-party AI/model providers that generate responses. We require such providers to process data in accordance with strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights and safety of Starizon, our users, or others.
  • Business Transactions: In connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.

5. AI Inputs, Outputs, and Data Protection

Because Starizon includes AI assistant and browser automation features, the following strict privacy standards apply:

  • No Model Training: We strictly do not use your prompts, inputs, outputs, or any personal data to train or fine-tune generalized AI models (neither our own, nor any third-party models).
  • No Webpage Data Storage: When you use browser assistant features, the agent operates in real-time. We never continuously log, store, or archive the webpage content or structured data you interact with.
  • No Automation Logs: When the agent performs browser actions at your direction (e.g., navigation, clicking, reading), we do not log or store the action steps, execution traces, or any outputs locally or remotely.

6. Browser Extension Permissions

Our browser extension requests only the minimum permissions reasonably necessary to provide core functionality, execute requested browser automation, and improve reliability.

You have full control over extension permissions through your browser settings, and you may disable or uninstall the extension at any time.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies on our website and web apps to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features.

If you use our browser extension, we use local browser storage strictly for session-related information, preferences, and functionality.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information—primarily Account and Billing records—for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax/accounting requirements).

If you close your account or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information as required by applicable law, unless we need to retain it for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes.

9. International Data Transfers

We may process and store personal information in countries other than your own. Where required by applicable law, we take steps to safeguard cross-border transfers using legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to restrict processing or withdraw consent.

Account Choices: You may update certain account information through your settings. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in the communication.

To exercise your privacy rights, please contact us at privacy@starizon.ai. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

11. Security

We use technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as 100% secure.

12. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.

13. Third-Party Services and Websites

The Services may link to or interact with third-party websites, applications, and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Their processing of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide notice as required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
